Extremely bad services of Foodpanda: Pandamart Pakistan Received two faulty items in one order Products Review: Eggs: when we opened the eggs box (it was bubbled wrapped) it was to my utter shock that they were rotten, smelly and were full of maggots 🐛. We had to disinfect our kitchen counter and floor as they were crawling here and there. Mosquito Racket: inner wire was damaged, was not in working condition. Handling of complaints by their customer Services: placed two complaints against this order. Extremely unprofessional handling of complaints by their customer services. In first response regarding expired n rotten eggs they just apologized in the response and closed the complaint. I had to ask for refund. No on called or enquired. When it came to damaged item, their customer services referred to their policy and I was told that item got damaged during their delivery and there will be no refund. I never asked for the refund, I asked for the exchange. I responded to their reply and after that it was a mental tourer as their Representatives kept closing complaints with misleading statements and lies that refund was made against it. I have proof of conversations and pictures of the products that I received. How long it takes to contact your customer and apologize in a call? I’m a frequent customer (so far 138K PKR purchase) of foodpanda and this is how they treat their customer. This is clearly consumer act violation and they need to put their act together!

Did not get a refund
Foodpanda is an incompetent and an unprofessional company.
I had ordered a meal using foodpanda credit. I had a 50 cashback so i only topped up the remaining amount that would total my order bill. After that, the order bill changed for some reason, and i was short 14 rupees. Then i was asked to select another payment method for the remaining balance in addition to my foodpanda credit so i selected cash.
Then when the rider showed up, he asked me for the full cash payment and showed me that on his phone, the app was asking for full payment in cash. I showed him my phone where it was showing that biggest chunk of the payment had been made through my foodpanda credit and I only had to pay him 14 rupees in cash. I asked him to contact the company and he did and someone from the operational department spoke who said we can cancel the order. Anyway the order was canceled and i was expected to get my foodpanda credit refunded, notwithstanding the inconvenience i had to go through to return my meal in the middle of the night. Then, on my foodpanda app, it said that i canceled the order because of a change of mind and so I can’t be refunded because it would incur a loss on “our partners”. It cost me nearly 1500 rupees which they haven’t refunded still.

ZERO RESPONSIBILITY
I am a very regular customer, mostly paying through my card even. Lately I have realized how this app is such a scam. They do not let you call the helpline. You can only chat with the customer service representatives and those representatives are of no help at all. I ordered food and paid through my card. The rider dropped it at some other house and didn’t even bother calling me or telling me. I spoke to 4 different customer service representatives and sent 4 emails to the customer support. They kept telling me that I can’t get a refund while I wasn’t even asking for one. I was just asking them to take responsibility for their riders mistake but it was a sheer disappointment. The app doesn’t identify the exact house address when I try to order by pinning my current location and based on that the rider dropped my order to the wrong house. Foodpanda took no responsibility for it. Now everytime I need to order, I will have to make sure it’s not through my card because if you have already paid, they will take no responsibility whatsoever. No one should order from here. Just order directly from the restaurant because the restaurant will at least take responsibly for their actions.
