Goodnotes 6
I m using Goodnotes for last 2 years. It’s a superb app for medical students . I choose Goodnotes over notability and one note over numerous reasons. It’s easy and user friendly with so many options to modify your documents and folders according to your style. However the new update could have been more game changer if they add more options like video player, advanced customisation, colours scheme, tools like the competitors. It’s is still the best though.
GoodNotes 7
GoodNotes 6 subscription is a dead end. The developer is already working on GoodNotes 7 and will leave GN6 users without new features, fixes, or support. Don’t waste money on GN6—wait for a reliable option or choose a different app. 1. Developer Abandonment GoodNotes has announced (or strongly signaled) that GoodNotes 7 is in production, shifting all engineering effort there. GN6 subscribers won’t get upcoming features or improvements once GN7 rolls out. 2. Broken Subscription Promise When you subscribed to GN6, you expected ongoing updates. Instead, GN6 will be “frozen” feature‑wise. Calls to Apple or GoodNotes support simply direct you to upgrade—no fixes or back‑ports for GN6. 3. Forced Upgrade Path To access any future enhancements, you must purchase GoodNotes 7 separately. Your existing GN6 subscription offers no discount or grace period for GN7. 4. Clear Advice Do not subscribe to GoodNotes 6—it’s a one‑time feature set with no future. Wait for GoodNotes 7’s launch or pick an alternative like Notability, OneNote, or Nebo.
