THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!
People have other things to love, while I have Google maps. I spend almost all of my time on maps, editing, reviewing, adding images and videos and helping people out with it that's my life story nowadays and I love doing so. Plus, this app provides me with the best of the interface and features to do so. Gives me regular incentives in the shape of points to contribute more and more and earn badges and I simply love doing it. Thank you Google maps.
P.S it'd be great if Google updates the app again to allow IOS users more easy options to contribute on Google maps.
Murphy's law
I have had many bad experiences specially when i needed the maps or routes guidance in a time barred situation. In one case the route it showed had a broken/under construction bridge and it didn’t give any alternate. Even today the app refused to open from whatsapp because of an update. Developers of this app need to understand that if some user is unable to update the app as immediately as you developers would desire, the app shouldn’t just refuse to work. I was trapped in a situation where i had somebody waiting for me on a highway and the location they shared won’t open in the app as it had an update pending. It kept on taking me to the browser which kept on giving these popups and stupid dialogue boxes. I shouldn’t have to deal with these useless issues while i was driving and had to reach some one’s location urgently. Instead i had to stop the car on a motorway and sort the warnings and demands of the app so that i can eventually get to my desired location. Today’s experience has me wondering if i should switch to some other app for route guidance. POOR EXPERIENCE.

Google Maps is such a wonderful app, no more worries with this app.
Whenever I go to another country, Google Map provides me authentic information about new places, restaurants, parks, hotels, roads and much more.
Most important and brilliant feature of this app is when it informs me about traffic congestion ahead and suggests me another possible route. It saves a lot of time and also helps to reduce pollution caused by idyllic vehicles in congestion.
