Description
The MP Site Works application is intended only for Contractor Mobile Users and Employees of Public Transport Authority (PTA) of Perth.
This app improves safety and activity management for users.
Through the app, users:
- may reduce travel time by logging on and off the job. Users may travel directly to site when ready to start an activity assigned to them and report that they have started their activity through the app rather than travel to PTA offices to report for the job and then travel to the work site. Similarly, when finished with an activity, app users may report they have finished their activity via the app from site, rather than travel from the work site to the PTA office and report that they have finished their activity in person.
- may be located quickly in the case of an emergency with the ‘lone worker’ feature. This is particularly important when working alone (as a ‘Lone Worker’) in isolated and potentially hazardous areas, such as below ground. When activated, the feature uses GPS, motion and accelerometer readings from an individual’s mobile device. The feature also monitors the time taken to complete an activity

Version 1.30
The app has been simplified and now focuses on the following options:
*record Start and End Times against Activities
*capture live GPS data from the Mobile User's/Staff member’s mobile phone where required, in accordance with Lone Worker Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
As result, the following options have been removed
*Login assistance (Having trouble? link)
*Requirements to flag completion of Take 5 or to complete Take 5 via the app – Take 5 has been replaced by Checklists
*Record if P2E (Permission to Enter) has been granted
*Record travel to site against an Activity (i.e. I'm traveling to Site – I'm on site options)
*Request for Isolation/De-isolation
*Requirement to record an ETC (Estimated Time to complete) against an Activity – associated Notifications have also been removed
*Assist Me function - Click to call/click to email
*Options to Finish (i.e. keep an Activity open) and Complete – when a Job is completed now simply select either Finish Job or Log off
*Removed are you OK? Prompt – call ICO or 000
*Option to enable Service off/on for equipment e.g. escalators/elevators
*Logging of Maintenance Issues
