On multiple occasions the drivers don’t know where to go and they message you asking for the drop off location which is very annoying as we don’t have net 24/7 and the drivers don’t know your location and when you cancel the ride they ask for cancellation fees when it’s not even your fault the drivers should at least pick up the call when you’re trying to call them…

I need to bring to your notice that, though I don’t know who is the owner of your franchise in Pakistan, but the service started declining immensely since last year. It’s extremely expensive and I think Uber Pakistan is taking advantage of almost monopolizing the market, as the new companies are still trying to build their brand/ business. I can you assure that the minute another company comes just a little close to the service Uber is providing, the decline in customers you see will be evident as night and day. We all know about the rate of inflation and the hike in fuel prices but Uber Pakistan is taking full advantage of it and some more. Please look in to this if u want sustainability, because as you may know that there r several emerging companies. We do see options, as mentioned before, and will definitely start using them if things don’t improve here. Also this is not just me but a narrative of many many of my friends & family. My driver started the ride without even picking me up and is still roaming around the city since more than 2 hours. Driver Name is Sher Muhammad, and the car is Suzuki Every CV 1995. I am writing this review because the ride is still in progress and somewhere near to the airport (which is far away from my destination). I have no option to cancel it and when I asked the driver on call to cancel it he misbehaved and said “I have no time to call Uber and neither I’m going to cancel it”. I sent multiple messages to him but he is not cancelling it and no one is there to track his location and my destination. When I tried to register a complaint, the app has no option to do anything (if you’re a customer and the ride is started), they don’t have any customer service contact! Even if you got an accident during your current ride, you can’t complain until the ride appears in their system’s “past” section!

Uber has lost control over the behaviors and activity of their drivers. On every single ride the drivers kept on asking in msgs where to go. If the app did not show them the drop off location then it would be for some reason so the company should also restrict the drivers from asking the customer about the drop off location. Second, most of the drivers did not have a working map and they ask the customers to guide them the directions. One driver said to me that i should have internet all the time so that i can guide the drivers about the directions. I complained it to company but they did not respond. Third, the company now has limit the process of refunding. Even if the driver did not know the location and did not have the map and as a result take a long route, the company did not refund the amount you have to pay due to the carelessness of the driver.
