If filling every square of living space with wide-eyed kitty cats is your idea of bliss, then Kitty Keeper: Cat Collector is the game for you. The adorably moreish game from Australian developers Mighty Kingdom calls on you to transform an abandoned mansion into a purrfect home for hundreds of homeless Mancatten cats (we’d totally rather visit here than Manhattan!).
Fill all 24 uninhabited rooms of the mansion with an assortment of feline friends and pounce-able new furniture. Earning XP, coins and other rewards can be done by completing simple quests – dragging and dropping a kitty on top of some newly purchased furniture and watching them gleefully play, regularly doling out yummy treats and completing story quests, centred around the mansion’s original owner.
Unlocking new cats and goodies for the mansion also requires you to send your feline friends to surrounding neighbourhoods. Don’t forget to equip them with lures to up your chances of finding rare fuzzy friends, such as Sir Herbert Sherbet. And, if you think you can top the cats’ ridiculously cute names (which, incidentally, are an ode to the game’s developers), you’ll be in your element with the re-naming feature.
As you progress, another room of the mansion will be unlocked for you to fill up with new furniture that will bring joy to your kitties’ hearts. Literally. You’ll see the hearts pouting out of them!
Kitty Keeper’s super-cute illustrations, fun seasonal events and of course, pleasing cat puns, will keep you coming back on a regular basis for some more paw-some play time.
