Description
BetterSnapTool allows you to easily manage your window positions and sizes by either dragging them to one of the screen's corners or to the top, left or right side of the screen. This enables you to easily maximize your windows, position them side by side or even resize them to quarters of the screen.
If you need even more than those standard snap areas, BetterSnapTool now allows you to create your own, custom snap areas anywhere on your display. These can resize & move windows to any possible position.
More features included are:
• support for multiple monitors
• customizable keyboard shortcuts to trigger any snap area
• lots of design customization options
• always accessible pop up menu showing all possible snap sizes / positions
• move or resize the window below the cursor while holding customizable modifier keys.
• select what happens when double-clicking a window's titlebar
• select what happens when right-clicking any of the red/orange/green window buttons of any window

BetterSnapTool works with almost every application, only some apps with non-standard windows can't be supported.

Must have
I have been using this app for years. I cannot image using mac without it. Today i had small issue and author replied within 5 mins to my email with the solution. Thanks a lot!
Good but not the best
The applictaion works very well, making my life a lot easier. I do miss "top half" and "bottom half" option being actioned by the mouse. If I move my pointer to the top half of the screen the window will go "fulscreen" instead of resizing to the top. In addition to that, nothing happens when the mouse goes into the bottom of the screen.
