Ratings and Reviews
Average app with mistakes
Sometimes looses network. Data of rides takes strange data. Shows rides cancelled by driver while i did not refuse any rides. Recently the app gives the maximum long pickup orders.
Not bad but not so good either
Okay, so the application is good in the means of design, but there are lots of other things needing an improvement. Sometimes, the passenger selects an inaccurate pickup location, because they choose it to be based on the phone’a location. You can’t change the sound when you receive a ride. Some passengers arrive late and you’re not rewarded for waiting for them. The maps built inside the app are just awful - estimated pickup time is pretty much always wrong (bolt 2 mins, google maps 10 mins). Your account may get suspended, when your rating drops below a certain threshold (even though your car is clean, you welcome your passengers and drive carefully to the destination).
Commission scandal.
I have been working on an application for 3 months roughly and I always wonder how much commission Bolt takes from drivers. I made some research and I saw they take 15% to 20% based on the city. However, bolt was taking roughly 31 % of my income. I texted their customer service and they told me that bolt was taking only 25% which is contrary to the fact. This month again I texted about the same issue and they gave me the same response. This is ridiculous and scandalous!
