Brother iPrint&Scan 4+

I got my new brother DCP-1622WE and got deeply disappointed. Beside initial problems with configuration of the printer on my macmini with BigSur the quality of the software is poor. The quality of the scanning software is faaar below expectations. Can not scan sections and do multiple scans from single run of the scanner. What was standard for most of scanners more than 10 years ago. Push button scan does not work at all. App on the Iphone to save to PDF needs multiple klicks and for office equipment I would expect it to be a standard one-click feature. Brother Team please try harder if you want to really support Mac users.

I have recently bought DCP-T425W printer. At first i was impressed by the printer but the solutions Brother intergrated into this are ridicilous. First of all there is no option to manually configure the printer using Printers&Scanners function. The only way to print is the app iPrint&Scan and guess what - the app only accepts PDF and image formats. Are you guys serious? I hope you will fix that otherwise im not going to be your user any longer

App is much better now (ver. 8.1.0), but still needs improvements. For example id doesn't recognise names of printers used in system. On the list devices are presentet with model names and IP addresses. So if user has more printers of with the same model, needs to remember their IP addresses. It is not good practice, that there is no easy way to report bug in appsa. Support link in AppStore, leads to general support page for all Brother products.
