Love it!
I can’t have the revolut account so I don’t really have anything to compare it except to the polish bank accounts. If you’re under 18 and travel every so often in Europe (or any part of the world really) than I highly recommend the bunq account. The chat is easily accessible and if there’s anything you would like to see in the app, you can just add a suggestion.
Free account is ‘enough’, but if you have bigger needs, you can always upgrade to the premium one which costs €7,99 a month. It kinda shocked me that the bunq travel card offers apple pay. I’m really happy about that.
I’m going to London in few months and I’m planning to upgrade to that premium account for a month and then switch again to the ‘standard’ one (you can do that!).
Even if you don’t travel that often it can be very useful. As I said, I highly recommend that. It’s free! So don’t waste your time and register right now! If you won’t like it, you will be able to cancel it anytime.

Cool app and bank
Bunq is really life saver for expat in Netherlands. The only thing could be better in my opinion is the iPad application - currently there is no separate app, so it looks terrible on the iPad - and I do not always want to do everything using my phone...
Activation process not clear and too long
The activation process took too long. The expected maximum time is 24 hours as per the information on the app as well as on the support page. I have been waiting since Sunday the 15th of May in the morning till Wednesday the 18th of May in the morning to get the approval. I also contacted the support twice to get more details. I am not so happy with the beginning of the service provided. I hope the next few days and weeks with using the app daily and being a bunq user will be way better.
