Good content, bad app

The content provided by C+ is good, but they still need to invest time in the app development. One of the most annoying issues I have is distortion in some movies - tested 3 different speakers connected to my Apple TV and nothing changes. Can you please fix this? It is impossible to watch some movies loud. The movie titles are: Ad Astra (at 5:55 and when there are explosions on the ISS), At Eternity’s Gate, Hour of Lead. I have opened a ticket at Canal+ Poland, but no solution yet.

Again, another update: really happy with the content, also the improvement in streaming quality. Though the AppleTV app is getting better, but still requires some work to get to Netflix level: subtitles tend to get out of sync with audio, the app does not remember what point in time watching is resumed.

5 stars for content, 1 star for application

Application needs to work much, much better.
I used VPN to browse US pages, forgot to switch it off, turned app on....and my account subscribtion is gone. Status not Active. Reinstalation did not help. And in the browser clearly visible that my account is Active in sport subscribtion:) Drama.

Multiple issues

The whole Canal+ ecosystem is just broken. The app has multiple bugs - subtitle issue when casting to TV; videos not loading sometimes until you restart the app a few times; sometimes both app and website claim that you don’t have access to a given resource even though you do; the only way to watch a movie on LG TV is to cast it from mobile as there is no LG app and LG browser is blocked by Canal+ (so you can’t do anything else on your mobile at the same time; casting isn’t too performant as well even on a new iPhone+new TV, so if you want to watch sports, this is a very bad experience at times). Compared to any other streaming services this is years behind and it ultimately forced me to cancel my Canal+ subscription - paying 45 PLN / month is just too much for the quality.
