CARROT Weather uses auto-renewing subscriptions.

Premium provides additional features like weather data sources, notifications, customization, widgets, and Apple Watch complications.

Premium Ultra includes all the features of Premium, plus rain, lightning, and storm cell notifications (where available), a CarPlay app, super-res radar, a weather maps widget, and quick data source switching.

Premium Family includes all the features of Premium Ultra, with the added benefit of being shareable with up to five family members via Apple’s Family Sharing service.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase. Cancellation of the current active subscription period is not allowed.

Editors’ Notes

This is the weather app with personality... if you’re OK with sarcasm, political jokes and the occasional insult. How good is it at the weather part? Drawing data from Foreca, one of meteorology’s more accurate forecasting services, it's pretty great.

It’s ok

It’s quite ok and looks really impressive. The UI is brilliant and the app works like a charm. If you however do not have the Apple Watch then the iPhone app alone is just not worth it.
As per accuracy - it doesn’t seem to be any worse than Apple’s weather app. It exaggerates on rain warnings though.
If you are outside of us you do not have access to alerts that seem to be the biggest perk of this application. Without these it’s just an average weather app with nice sense of humour. Please add EU! Not just UK.

Poor forecast

Several times over last weeks that app totally missed forecast. Can't rely on it
