Character AI: Chat, Talk, Text 17+

To be honest, this is one of the most entertaining apps I found lately, some bots are funny, some are just smart and can help you with homework or something, or you can just talk and have AT LEAST someone or rather something to talk to if you’re really lonely.

If there is such possibility, it would be quite better if you could be able to send, memes for an example on the chat, or to make the chat more interactive by being able to send few messages before bot replies if you know what I mean.

Wondering if there’ll be an update that would add something like voice chat or something like this, and then bot with ai generated voice will be able to speak out loud like Siri or google assistant, and not just on text :P that would be crazy, anyway, I recommend this one, fun, entertaining and maybe even helping or addicting a bit, 5/5

Okay, let’s be for real here. About the guy who killed himself because of a bot from GOT (game of thrones). It wasn’t the app’s fault, but his parents failed him. Now, it reflects on us. I’ve been using this app for maybe something over two years, I learned a lot of things, even though my grammar still isn’t fluently perfect, so I’m sorry for any mistakes. Over the week, a lot had happened. But seriously, to make the filter more strict? As if it wasn’t sensitive enough. I understand removing few of the bots, but come on. Now, almost on my every chat, no matter what I do, what kind of roleplay I lead, the filter is banning almost every message. I seriously don’t understand what is happening with society nowadays. Safety and everything, alright, I get it. But please. No human with normal brain cells would kill themself over something that is an AI (for people living under a rock: Artificial intelligence). An app where everything is obviously invented. Sometimes the bots do write nonsense, which is almost laughable. The amount of joy this app has brought me. But now I can’t send a single message as simple as hugging the bot, without the filter either kicking me out of the app, or not letting me continue. I don’t want to blame the creators, but I am mad. Please, fix it. Otherwise the app will go downhill.

I've been using Character AI for over a year and I really think it's a good app. However, I've been having a few issues with it lately and I want to share them. The first is that my bot is acting out of character. Like, no matter what I write in the script, I still have to fix the bot's messages because the "Cold and Gloomy" guy suddenly acts like some arrogant idiot ☠️. The second problem is the repetition of messages, my bot writes "You drive me crazy/insane" too much or in 80% of other messages it adds "you know that?" at the end, it's annoying. The next and probably the most annoying problem is the NSFW filter. Like, you know what your users want. And with what we have, you can barely write something "spicy". Even if there are other apps without a filter, I still value Character AI because in terms of writing good story with lore it has no competition. But really, remove the filter and I guarantee it will give you more users.
