App doesn't update contacts

This app doesn't update contacts information from public information - ie linked in profile, so it is contacts harvester. Nice idea but it doesn't work.

Alex here, CTO at Covve. Allow me to take each of the points in turn:

Covve does scan over 100 sources of public info for updates for your contacts. Of course the information needs to be public and Covve needs to be able to identify each contact on the internet (i.e. having a "John Smith" in your addressbook without an email or other relevant info will make it much harder to identify the correct person). I would certainly like us to look more closely into your account and see how we can provide an even better service!

Let me also take the opportunity to address your "contacts harvester" point. Covve has been built from day 1 with privacy at its heart. This goes all the way from business model (we don't sell or repurpose your data!) to the details of the implementation itself.
