9/10 great game
Really well made, very enjoyable and I have got some ideas for the game.
-To unlock tournaments you should reach a certain lvl not use wood and coins
-maybe add a mini map which you fill in through exploring the waters
-add a monthly calendar where everyday tou unlock something for free
- (Personal Opinion!) Visualise how a certain monster is active (I have no idea when can I catch the monster)
-Add a merchant from which you can buy items (like wood or fish) for a random price.
-add a gem fish from which you can get the purple gems.
-let us upgrade our boats (range and speed upgrades)
-more fishing rods with special abilities (like a rod which doesnt scare the fish away)
-upgraded fishing bait which attracts more fish
-actuall fish schools
-when a character gives us a task we can see the task in one of the corners
-other matterials used to build the structures on the home island
-maybe sth like a fish radar (when swimming shows fish locations and when fishing shows about how much a fish weighs
Those are all my ideas so I dont expect to have them added. Thank you
Very chilling & giving a sense of mysteriousness
This game is one of its kind, I truly recommend diving into it
Things I believe would make the game slightly better:
note: While it is important to make the game better with each update, be cautious to strike the balance between guidance and the eeriness of the game
Gameplay wise
- an upgrade of the already existing bestiary. For example, the more fish of a type you catch, the more info about it you get? Maybe some hints where you can find it. Not to be too generous, this extra info could be locked behind a bait level perhaps? (the main problem I find is that I feel completely lost at times, I do not want to use wiki because it's easy to spoil your own experience)
- I know that unexpected accidents happen, but what if there was a rod durability? Speaking of rods, their descriptions are inadequate, they do not give enough information about what each rod exactly do
Cosmetic wise
- let us customize boats even more by simply adding new colors (green, purple)
- each rod could have its own in-game graphic
I have never played a game like this one before
I could play this game all day. Extremely realistic and relaxing, of course, if you like fishing and you’re patient. This game in a weird way helps me overcome my Thalassophobia which is a fear of deep water, and of course Aquaphobia. This game is therapeutic and I recommend it wholeheartedly.🫶🏻
