SocialWare?
A typical Mac app focuses on clean design and doing well what it’s intended to do. Disk Doctor does it’s job well, but the desing is awful, mainly because they put Facebook and Twitter buttons in too many locations and there’s no way to disable them. You get asked to go to those sites on the welcome screen and after every time you use it. Why? I already paid you, go take my money and do the marketing yourselves!
It’s SocialWare. Like AdWare, but with developers nagging you to Tweet about their product all the time. You cleaned your disk? Tweet!
This is a stupid trend and not very cool.
It does what it says!
Great app, it really does what it says. I managed to recover a gig of space in seconds. But like the other guy said, be careful with what you clean. All in all, it's a great little app, and I personally found FIPLAB support quite helpful. Keep up the good work guys!
