Description
The FLIR R700 app allows you to control your FLIR R700 backpack radiation detector with your iOS device via Bluetooth. You can display live radiation readings, take measurements, perform identification, share files, and stay aware with vibrating/audible alarm indication.

Not very usefull
The device connects to the app. The app provides very basic information, which greatly limits its usefulness. To change settings, such as units, it is necessary to connect to the R700 software via a LAN network. This complicates the use of both the device and the app. Furthermore, there is no option to view the full spectrum; the app displays a record but nothing beyond the chart can be seen. If the chart included information about, for example, energy, it would be possible to understand what one is dealing with. As for the app's performance in real-time, it shows what it should. However, the previously mentioned features are missing, most notably the view of the collected spectrum.
