I applaud the developers for making a browser that has some more advanced features out of the box. This is something the iPadOS ecosystem is sorely lacking, and the ways to get desktop-equivalent functionality are all clunky and hacky. But obviously, some enhancements are needed. First, please add a keyboard shortcut for Cmd+L to jump to the address bar. People who use a "browser for geeks" on an iPad are going to likely use it with a keyboard. Not being able to jump to an address bar quick - something Safari on iPadOS supports - is a downgrade. Also, please consider some support for extensions. Some things like Sponsorblock, password manager integration, or integration with a translation service (like the "translate in Google Tranlsate" feature in Chrome on desktop) are essential to advanced browser usage. It may be unrealistic to expect developers to implement extensions specifically for Gear, but maybe Gear could use Safari extensions, which exist on App store for iPadOS.
Edit: We have released v6.9.0 and fixed the problem you reported.Thank you for your review. It's just a bug of the keyboard shortcut to address bar. We will fix that on next version and make it work again.Apple didn't provide any APIs for third party browser to access the Safari extensions. It's exclusive for Safari itself. But we keep working on to extend the functionality for our product, everything will be possible.
