the best app for trips
I’ve been using this app on every trip I had. Best deals, offers and experiences. Very flexible with cancellations and you dont have to pay immidiately, you can do it just a few days before. Highly recommend to everyone.
Ridiculous service
I booked an airport transfer in Reykjavik,Iceland. GYG provided option of choosing the pickup spot which I did and by the time I should’ve been picked up there was no bus visible. I have called the main company and it turned it I had no pickup attached to my reservation!! And I have less than 15 minutes to get to the main stop which was around 2km away. I was absolutely panicked, it was extremely cold, I had to take a taxi for these 2km which was almost as expensive as the whole 40km trip to airport(!!). Information provided by GYG via email and app showed me directions to go to the bus stop which I’ve chosen earlier and there was no information about any changes. I had a severe panic attack, I was crying because of stress all the way back and my pleasant stay has been turned to horrible experience because of this single situation. I do not recommend having anything to do with get your guide whatsoever.

Good app, they are just an intermediary though
The app itself us very user friendly and offers a lot of convenient options. GYG is only an intermediary though and they do not take any responsibility for the service providers behind all the products that are offered on the app. I have used it several times and usually with very good service behind it, though when the service provider completely failed (cancelled the acquired tour very last minute), all GYG did is “sorry ma’am for the inconvenience”. And there was no choice to substitute the cancelled tour.
