Welcome to Grassland Cover Estimator App. This app enables you to estimate the percentage of ground and more. Thanks for using Grassland Cover Estimator App.
The Grassland Cover Estimator app enables the user to estimate the percentage of ground in a grassland or pasture that is covered by a specified component (e.g. a weed, a desirable plant, bare ground, litter, insect damage). It uses the ‘step-point analysis’ (Point Intercept) method to calculate % cover from a series of present/absent observations. The data is saved automatically and can be exported as a CSV file for later detailed analysis. A comprehensive User Guide is available.
