This update fixes a crash that was occurring when editing devices.

Nice app

Adding accessories is very easy, the ocr is rapid in detecting numbers or qr codes.
Missing feature which would make it perfect is to launch adding new accessory from the app. Meaning, tap and it starts adding that particular accessory instead opening the code on my Apple Watch..

Sadly I can't automate adding an accessory as Apple doesn't allow access for that.

It could have been a must have...

But it isn’t.
It’s a simple database, not even with any kind of sync with Home so moving the devices between rooms doesn’t change their location in HomePass - if you experiment a lot that’s a nightmere. But the wprst is that the app designed to serve QR codes doesn’t even show the QR code!
That is why I’d rather keep the data in my own encrypted db.

Sorry to hear you are having problems with HomePass.

HomePass is designed to not keep in sync with rooms as with many apps this can cause severe issues with data changing and conflicts occurring. See Hue and HomeKit rooms causing deletion of data for an example of why I avoid this. I will look to add this as a future optional feature though.

HomePass is not actually designed to serve QR codes in the iOS app at all. It shows scannable text codes in the iOS app and shows QR codes on the Watch app. How would you propose fitting QR codes into the iOS app? Maybe on a tap of the text code?
