IT WORKS!
After a series of failed purchases, we bought an HP 3 years ago and never looked back. It prints every time.
One of our dogs hit it while playing yesterday and we had a hung sheet of paper this morning. Took minutes to fix and we were back up and running.
HP rocks.
Don’t use it
It’s an absolute trash app, stay away from it. It’s been working fine for almost 2 years. Since the new update I cannot print anything anymore, I have the most recent iOS and app version. It started to use “AirPrint” but it’s not properly implemented and it is simply stuck on “sending to printer” phase. “Do you want to allow iPhone 12 to use AirPrint? YES - nothing happens…”. I’ve tried to reboot the printer, I even reset to the factory settings - still the same problem, I’m trying to print a document for the last 35 minutes. HP is an awful corporation, the printers were working fine since the 90s but hp cannot even do that right in 2023. Totally overgrown corporation with incompetent people that cannot manage its products. Perhaps they need to layoff 70% of its workforce to properly implement the technology from the 90s (network printing). Don’t use it, try to print with basic iOS functionalities, if possible. A disgrace.
Cloud zombies
Whoever came up with an idea to enable printing only when logged in to hp account is an idiot. Why are you taking away basic freedom from people to be able to print manually without logging in to servers etc? What kind deluded concept is it? I bought a new printer hp envy 6420e. It turns out I can’t print a single page without being logged in to hp. Invasion of privacy. Over-complication. Setup took me a better half of the day on 1 laptop. When I tried to use my company laptop it demanded to install an app and then wouldn’t let me print without setting or logging into an account. This is so wrong I can’t begin to describe it..this is the reason why people have enough of these uncivilized methods of intrusion. Where is simplicity? Blinded control freaks.
