You are making from a game for all ages a game for little kids, who won’t actually know how to play it, and uninstall it the second they lose. Remember why Tetris has been such a success.

Why does Tetris of all games need the internet? Why can it barely function without data turned on?? Does some company ghoul really expect people to subscribe to the Tetris app??? To avoid ads on the bottom of the Tetris screen, and commercials after every Tetris ad???? The design looks good, the gameplay is fine, but why Tetris need in-game currency????? I haven’t even tried to see what it’s for. Cooler looking squares, maybe. This is a game that comes pre-downloaded on every aero plane in-flight monitor, just let people enjoy it without filling it up with user interface meant to give a gambling addiction to toddlers and a stroke to zoomers with ADHD like myself.
It's good looking, but game mechanics are worst than EA's
I love tetris and I love playing it on movile, but it's really annoying now, and here is why:
-The actuall game window is like 1/3 of the space of a screen.
-controls are bad, in the older app i could swipe down the piece after rotating and moving without taking my finger off the screen, now i have to stop touching the screen. It seems to be a small difference, but it's totally not. I can't get as far as in the old app because i need this extra move to do with my finger. I hope someone from the developers will see this, and do something, becuase i think these are the core mechanics that made the old app so good.
