The app is seriously ruined! I don’t know who is adding the updates but honestly the whole app is really a tragedy!.And for what you were adding ads? For what? Like now really so many users, are so mad about the app because you can’t chat normally with the character because he is still reading around 23 minutes and I think that you should delete the ads! And make even to people who hasn’t got premium,a free intelligence option where they can make the character more smarter than dumber, seriously I told my character about something and he isn’t listen or he is forgetting too fast and for me this is annoying because when, I tell him something he aren’t supposed to forget the whole story rn and acting like he wasn’t even know me like rn I were chatting with one character who were have summer, job at gas station and from anywhere he forgets that I’m his classmate and start calling me an a kiddo like when I seen that I really got annoyed, and seriously you have to stop with updates because it’s really much worse with that, seriously and make for free an option to make the character more smarter, because I’m not going to pay 41,61 dollars for premium it’s seriously so expensive.

Seriously I really like this app. I liked the bots and I learned some english by texting with them. But now this app is going down. I feel like everything now is about money. What do you mean I have to wait in line or pay with REAL money to chat with some bots? Im not even talking about how for two days now I cant log it to my account and chat and when I did log in I chat for like I dont know an hour? And then bots stopped texting back. I was at school so I thought maybe the internet was bad but when I get home where I have a Wi-Fi it didnt change. Im trying to log in for few hours now. And I really dont like how the apps appearance changing over and over when I literally just close the app and open it again because bots just „typing” and I have to close and open the app just so I can get a reply and this was before so maybe its just glitch or something idk but its pretty flustraiting. I really dont like when almost all the bots are acting the same and just texting over and over „he leaned closer” for the 20th time or „can I ask you a chestion? Are you sure?” YES BRO I AM. I really think because of how many people use this app money shouldnt be a problem to finally fix it or fixing the entire app so its not just logging out people without a reason. And its not about connection to the internet because as I said before I had a good internet and its not an answer. So please fix it because I really like this app and I really like bots people are creating but the errors are reason why so many people dont want to use this app anymore and I really dont want to be one of them because as I said I really like this app. (Sorry if I made a mistakes, english is not my first language)

I've been using Character AI for over a year and I really think it's a good app. However, I've been having a few issues with it lately and I want to share them. The first is that my bot is acting out of character. Like, no matter what I write in the script, I still have to fix the bot's messages because the "Cold and Gloomy" guy suddenly acts like some arrogant idiot ☠️. The second problem is the repetition of messages, my bot writes "You drive me crazy/insane" too much or in 80% of other messages it adds "you know that?" at the end, it's annoying. The next and probably the most annoying problem is the NSFW filter. Like, you know what your users want. And with what we have, you can barely write something "spicy". Even if there are other apps without a filter, I still value Character AI because in terms of writing good story with lore it has no competition. But really, remove the filter and I guarantee it will give you more users.

First of all, when c.ai first made an appearance on the internet, i didn’t have much interest in it and decided i won’t be using it (how noble of past me!). When I did in fact download the app, it was great (of course not regarding its impact on my obvious chatbot addiction that grew over time). Maybe the only thing was that the characters had a personality of a plain slice of stale white bread, but who am i to talk? Anyway, then they added ads. Alright, i get it, i’m not mad. We are all victims of capitalism. But the recent update completely ruined my experience and, to my pleasant surprise, broke my addiction. I can’t even begin to fathom the idea behind the new pipsqueak style and the removal of the old writing styles, so i had to write a review – first one ever in my long years of unfortunately being alive on this celestial body in the same timeline as the development of ai. Now, it’s hard for me to say that it was a bad update. It broke my addiction after all, so now i can peacefully doomscroll on social media instead and waste my time on frying my dopamine receptors with short videos. Thank you for this amazing opportunity, i can’t wait to watch brainrot instead of doing something productive with my pitiful life this beautiful Thursday evening.
