Please FIX remote centrol visibility !!!!
Please upgrade software for Remote Control - make presented status visible ! If you are in action you must be sure that camera records now only small letters - no difference in standby and recording from 1 meter:(. Put big symbol on the screen or just inverse screen ! when camera is in action and recording, light led - over all just make it clear it is working !!
It’s just a one pain point in insta I found :)
Avoid this app and hardware
Be really careful for that product hardware and upcoming app „updates”. If you have an insta360 x2 version and you install the „summer update” on your device, all you succeed is complete destruction of your camera. For me, just a week after update and first use with new app somehow all the sudden external mic input got unresponsive and finally end up with network connection problems. I understand.. x2 was good till release of x3 version and so forthcoming… buy a new x5 and in 3 years of paying full sum of the camera you will end up with a garbage not a tool. It has to be spoken clearly… this company sells you products on leash and slows and breaks down its old released version cameras on each occasion of an “update”…

Hello, sorry for the inconvenience caused! The firmware and app updates are solely for the addition of new features and the resolution of known issues. Regarding the X2 issue, due to platform limitations, could you please provide the current firmware version of the camera, a photo of the camera's WiFi settings page, and a video of the issue to service@insta360.com? We will follow up with you further. Thank you for your understanding!
Update that destroyed a good app
Before update I was using app daily. Now it is crashing all the time, takes forever to edit anything and keeps crashing so I gave up on editing videos at all for now. Also earlier i could upload files from my phone now it shows error.

Go to the app's settings page and clear the app cache. 2. Clear your phone's memory to ensure there is sufficient space. If the issue persists, please send us your phone model, a screen recording of the issue, and APP log (Insta360 App>"Settings" > "About Insta360" > "Assist in diagnosis" > "Send") to email iOS-Appfeedback@insta360.com for further technical assistance.
