Description

Take control of the mouse pointer via the keyboard. Keymo allows you to move the mouse, scroll, click, right-click, and even find the mouse's onscreen location, all without touching your mouse (or trackpad).

What’s New

Version 1.2.10

• Renamed 'Move to Edge/Corner' (and added more detail in Help) to hopefully prevent user confusion about what it does.
• Minor behind-the-scenes improvements.

Looked promising, but turned out unusable

Firstly I was very impressed by the variety of customization this app gives, but after a few minutes it all stopped working as expected and I’m going for the refund. The main issue is that the cursor stops moving after around 2 seconds or disappears immediately. Also moving it is not fluent: it reacts to the key press in a default system-key-event-manner: 1. one keypress, 2. pause, 3. a series of keypresses. I’d definitely expect to move the cursor fluently from the very first key press. These are critical issues to be fixed for me. Next thing to make it really usable would be to add a possibility of combining movement shortcuts. For example if I want to move the mouse up & left I’d like to use the shortcut for up and the shortcut for left at the same time. Currently I have two options. First is to move left and then move up, but that’s too slow! Second option is to bind a separate key for up-left direction, which won't work for me as I only want to use the keyboard arrow keys for the cursor movement. So if my shortcut for left is "alt+left", and for up is "alt+up", I want to be able to press: "alt+up+left" to move up and left at the same time. I hope to read about the app improvements and try it again in the near future, all the best!
