MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav 4+

Po ostatniej aktualizacji aplikacja utraciła możliwość importowania trackow gpx. Po wcześniej zapamiętanych trackach pozostały tylko punkty poi. Po synchronizacji aplikacja się wiesza. Zupełnie nie zrozumiałe jak dla mnie ograniczenie funkcjonalności...

Edit: I will try to explain in English. App hangs after bookmarks synchronised. No more GPX support. Old tracks lost. You can only see poi’s. App looks nice, but I have lost my favourite features... :(

The navigation on a curved road constantly repeats „turn right/left, or keep right/left” even though there is no physical possibility to change driving direction. after couple of minutes of listening to it you start ignore voice directions and eventually when you should turn, you miss it. Also I don’t really understand difference between “turn” and “keep”, sometimes “keep right” meant to turn right and sometimes it meant to keep main road and not don’t turn off the road. This navigation picks the possible shortest roads, but not neccessairly drivable roads. on Madeira it directed us into a local road, very narrow one with a slope of 45º, which eventually we couldn’t drive through because of an approach angle. I had to go back all the road on reverse and I have burnt a clutch. I had to call tow service. In comparision Google Maps doesn’t drive you through such a roads, it takes slightly longer directions but at least through manageable ways. the app takes too long to figureout you took a wrong turn. it literally takes a couple of seconds, and in this time app shows like you were on a right track (in case of taking a wrong turn on a round about)

Worst update ever. Search does not work properly, e.g. I cannot find smaller towns in neighborhood or hills/mountains. I can do so only by moving and zooming the map.
Some other functionalities are broken or removed as well... I'm deeply sorry because it was my beloved app that I encouraged my friends to download.

Setting up a new route (navigation) is a real pain. For example if I just want to check the patch for my trip outside of town (from the bottom of the hill to the top of it, on foot), I simply can't do so without struggling with map. Again, search does not work as it should, but I have found it manually. But wait, it shows me a way from my current location. Oh gosh, I need to find the bottom of my desired mountain again, but using even more retarded UI than before (without access topo map). So painful and useless.

I'm so frustrated that I'am ditching this app for outdoor & hiking adventures. Probably it will be quite good just for sightseeing.
