Change your music experience

Things have moved on. There’s no longer just a dial to twist when your favourite song comes on, then guard to make sure no one else touches it. With the app, you can crank up the volume from the kitchen and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

It’s using the powers of technology for good, and ultimately with you in control, better playlists for all. And if apps aren’t your thing, you can still use our products without it.

Using the app is simple. Just connect your devices, adjust the volume, and get on with your life. You can fiddle with more detailed adjustments if you’re that way inclined, like equalisers and noise control for headphones – everything is there to help create your perfect fit.

Our app supports these products:
Minor IV
Major V
Motif II A.N.C.
Middleton
Minor III
Acton III Bluetooth
Stanmore III Bluetooth
Woburn III Bluetooth
Emberton II
Willen
Motif A.N.C.

What’s New

Version 3.2.4

You can now connect the Minor IV, Major V to our app, and it’s easier than finding a K-Pop track you can zone out to. Just connect the Minor IV, Major V to your device and adjust the finer details at your leisure.

takes a long time to connect

Takes a long time to connect with iphone 11 , while the speaker itself is already connected. Otherwise everything is fine. The sound quality is excellent!

Doesn’t work with the Emberton II speaker

I won’t repeat everything that has been said in the opinions below (all of it rather true, the app is very poor). In one of those opinions I read the response of the Marshall team, saying that the Emberton speaker is not currently supported by the app. And that’s true: I cannot connect my Emberton to the app. But why on earth do you inform in the app that Emberton IS supported?? When you click “Compatible Products”, Emberton II is listed there!!! It’s just so misleading, I spent a lot of time trying to connect my speaker, because the app said it was possible. It would take a SECOND to remove it from the list of supported devices. No idea why the Marshall team is happy with misinforming and disappointing their clients.

What makes it even more sad is the fact that Marshall speakers are really great in general, with wonderful bass; the battery lasts really a long time. I recommend these speakers to everyone. But my speaker won’t spontaneously connect to my iPhone 13, so I wanted the app to facilitate it. Not possible. Marshall, get the work done, this app has been poor for years now.

Developer Response ,

Hello, thank you for your review and candid feedback.

The app's list of compatible products is correct, the Emberton II will work with the Marshall Bluetooth app. Similar to how each generation of the iPhone is created with new technology and features, the Emberton II is able to use the app while the original Emberton doesn't offer this capability. We are sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this creates, we also wish the Emberton was supported by the app.

Once the Emberton is paired to your phone, it should be possible to connect again and not have to pair/unpair each time. The app doesn't enable a speaker to pair to your phone, it is always necessary to manually set up the pairing between the phone and your speaker. If you have further questions about this, please reach out to support@marshallheadphones.com.

We hope you will continue to enjoy the Emberton despite it not connecting to the app, it is a fantastic speaker!

Opinion

As a user I feel scammed. Marshal pretends high quality producer but this app is crap. For such high prices of speakers it should be a reliable product, in fact with Stanmore II and iPhone 11 this is not usable. I don’t hear sound, device is stopping music by itself, nothing helps just removing this crap from the phone. I know one thing, I’ll never buy Marshall product again until they will not fix this particular app as a result of taking care of their customer and their good name. If they will not do this it means that they are not legendary company anymore but just next ugly corporation, as a consequence I prefer to have ugly looking but perfectly working jbl instead of overpriced product that fakes custom.

Developer Response ,

Hello there, thanks for your review. We'd like to learn more about this experience, did you have one or two Stanmore II Bluetooth speakers? Was the speaker able to pair and play with your iPhone without the app?
