Resolution on iPad

I really like this app, but I don’t know why the resolution on iPad is lower of all screen (at left and right I have some black free place).
I use it for connection with my remote computers (1 raspberry pi, one working laptop from home, and PC in work), and I can’t really work for long time, cause screen is rectangular with normal resolution, what is really annoying.
I give this 3 stars, cause, i can use, when i have other computer near, but, only 3 stars, cause, i can’t use iPad as computer, to work on remote computer desktop :(.

UI after ver. 10

I have a few issues with app UI after update to version 10.
1. Command bar on top isn’t transparent like before and now annoys me because it covers content
2. Switching between mouse and touch is difficult become now we have two icons all time ( i think in case someone wants to switch from mouse to mouse...) before was one changing icon and when i want to change it desktop wasn’t hide. Now is covered and it distracts
3. Not good not bad - mouse cursor is bigger and looks little odd. Content isn’t bigger because of it
Previous UI was more user friendly

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback.

If you long-press on the Remote Desktop logo the connection bar will become smaller. You can also drag it along the top of the screen. The transparency effect that we use is similar to what Apple uses for their on-screen UI toolbars.

Not sure how switching between Mouse Pointer mode and Touch mode is now more difficult. The hand icon is for Touch mode, and the mouse icon is for Mouse Pointer mode. Tap the icon that corresponds to the mode you want. The currently selected mode is highlighted in the accent color. The previous approach only showed one icon and users were confused as to whether it indicated the current mode, or the mode that would be switched to if it was pressed.

The mouse cursor sizing behavior is consistent with the behavior of the Windows and macOS clients. Client scaling does not cause the cursor to be scaled. This is important to ensure that the cursor does not become too small (or too large). The text insertion cursor is particularly susceptible to going missing when it is scaled down.

Need to improve configuration sharing between devices

ving the app installed on mac, macbook and ios i have to configure the access to all rdp clients for each devices. this is a time consuming task and unnecessary job to to especially with lot of rdp clients.

please consider to use icloud to store config data so the user hava access to whatever clients are configured on the other devices.
