The myMUB mobile application is a tool meant to facilitate the functioning of English-speaking students, PhD students and scientists at the Medical University of Bialystok (MUB).

Students, lecturers and guests from abroad often have problems with acclimatisation, especially in a country with a distinct cultural background. Launch of the English-language myMUB mobile application is aimed at improving the comfort of studying of foreign students at MUB and comfort of the stay of foreign scientists and guests, as well as their quick integration with the entire MUB academic community.

In particular, the application is meant to ease getting around the university campus and Bialystok for new students. This new solution includes also essential information about University, admission and many tips for students.

The app is a comprehensive guide for new students or foreign guests, including contact details of Dean’s Offices and MUB units, Welcome Centre, information on dormitories, student organisations as well as about city transport, legalisation of stay, security and healthcare in Poland.

Here, students have the opportunity to check syllabuses, class schedules, study regulations, and easily contact the English Division Dean's Office. Two useful tools are also available: exchange rate calculator and schedule, a day plan management tool integrated with the smartphone calendar.

Due to the fact that the mobile app includes tips and information about Białystok and the Podlaskie region, the app could be also useful for Polish students of the MUB as well as students from other universities located in the city.

The myMUB mobile application is created as part of the project entitled "Internationalization 2.0. New quality in building the culture of internationalization of the Medical University of Bialystok", implemented as part of the NAWA programme "Welcome to Poland".

The program is co-financed from the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development, non-competitive project entitled Improving the competences of the academic staff and the institution's potential in accepting people from abroad - Welcome to Poland implemented as part of the Action specified in the application for co-financing of project No. POWR.03.03.00-00-PN14/18.

Awesome and useful!

Cool app to have in your phone if you’re a student or just a foreigner in Bialystok. There’s everything: from information about university and campus to emergency contacts, to restaurants and entertainment options! Even taxi numbers and public transportation!
