Opis
Negative has three working modes:
- Normal - no inverted colors. In this way, you can open documents to yourself, for example, in Preview on Mac
- Inverted - here the colors are just reversed, everything is in reverse
- Inverted with Sepia - the picture in the negative with the sepia added, which in my opinion further improves the comfort of reading in the dark.
Each of the modes is activated one after the other, like on a carousel, after next clicking on the button with the eye on the toolbar.
On the toolbar you will also find a field for entering the page number to which you want to jump.

Wersja 2.0
Negative was completely rewritten from scratch and now fully supports both Intel and M1 Macs. Negative 2.0 requires macOS Monterey.
What's new:
- completely new UI with all the important elements on toolbar (search field, page counter, change color mode button)
- settings: you can choose whether the PDF color mode should be in sync with current color mode of the system or not.
- tips: if you find Negative worth small gratification, now you can tip the creator with one of thee available tip options (using In-App-Purchase).
Fixes:
- fix for a bug that caused crashed on M1 Macs for some users.

The app works just as good as preview and lets you invert the colors, which is exactly what I need in a world full of masochists who love to burn their eyes with all-white pdfs.
Only the lack of feature that would let you save an inverted pdf (which i hope will be added one day) doesnt make it an all-in-one pdf reading tool for me (i need that because i annotate my pdfs in goodnotes a lot)
Greate app
Very usfull app. Clean and minimal UI reduce distractions when I read books on my Macbook.
Two features worth to consider:
- Dark mode support on Mojave
- Some kind of virtual bookshelf where I can easiliy browse all my books/PDFs
Useful app for working with dark theme
Program is very helpful in working with dark theme . In the current version, there is no way to search the text (it's must to have in app like this), but on Twitter is informaton that this function will appear soon :)
