Obsidian - Connected Notes 4+

At some stage of my project I had to read, understand and visualise some 70 pages of conceptual work that also was referencing some materials that I have already had. That was nightmare. I didn’t know where to start, and then I remembered my friend showing me some weird note taking app with links? And markdown? I have organised my existing notes as a workspace, linking them and reducing - referencing instead of repeating. At the beginning of this 70 pages long read I started a canvas, at the end of the work it was full of the ideas that were chaotically spread across the document I was reading. Everything organised, easy to access, easy to find. Why this app is brilliant is because it is stupidly simple to use, thanks to markdown - formatting is clear and does not go crazy, it does not get in the way of note taking. Attachments - stupidly simple, one folder per workspace, all attachments that are in line are also available from folder. Each workspace has separate config hidden in . folder. Infinite canvas that is very convenient to use. Sorry I don’t write long reviews, but if you have a mess of documentation this app can be really life changing.

I never enjoyed digital noting apps until I started using obsidian. I recommend to everyone, give yourself some time to learn how to use this awesome App and enjoy your organized notes and todo lists!

Using it everyday everywhere it's possible and it's been great. The biggest thing about it is that WE OWN the files.

The only problem I am experiencing are some buggy behaviors with trackpad and mouse on iPad (weird clicks / laggy or not working scrolling). Would like to see some more love to fix support for mouse/trackpad here.

Overall very happy with this tool!
