The OMRON connect app is an important part of our Going for Zero mission to eliminate heart attacks and strokes. Monitoring your blood pressure everyday can help make this vision a reality. The app makes it easy to view your health metrics anytime, anywhere. Syncing wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet, the OMRON connect US/CAN/EMEA app tracks your readings and daily measurements, giving you a more clear view of your overall health.
The OMRON connect US/CAN/EMEA app provides many free features for you to manage your heart health (some feature availability depends on device type)
• Easily sync your readings to your smartphone via Bluetooth®
• Email readings to family, physicians, or other health care professionals and share your progress
• Keep track of your health history by storing and saving unlimited readings
• Get a complete view of your blood pressure with systolic, diastolic and pulse readings
• Receive alerts when notable changes in blood pressure are detected
• Set physical activity goals and track your progress
• Monitor the length and quality of your sleep
• Monitor your weight and BMI (body mass index)
• Access additional historical health data around sleep, weight, ECG, activity and more
• Directly send readings to Apple® HealthKit
In addition, the app provides the following premium features:
• Gain insights into how the combination of your blood pressure, activity, sleep and weight may be affecting your heart health

Worse than previous app
New application is much less intuitive. Working with it is not comfortable. Lack of simple reports as ledger of last measurements. Graphs do not fit to screen, show no overview. Pity that I had to unistall previous Omron app.
Considering change of device even if updates will not improve user interface.
Terrible app
This app is a disgrace. Seniors just want to keep a history of their blood pressure measurements. Instead, they were forced to do a complex migration to the "new" app. They have to go through a complex signup process (why is an account even needed? why not just keep measurements on the phone?) that is broken in many ways. If all this succeeds, they have to remember their login and password (WHY?!). And then they get a complex app with PREMIUM subscription upsells. The app is also unreliable and often breaks and stops syncing for unknown reasons. I hope the company eventually realizes that gathering user data is a liability and will result in lawsuits and additional costs (not least because of GDPR regulations). There is no reason to require an "account", other than some managers in the company trying to make their careers on new subscription revenue. OMRON should be ashamed of this app.
Tragedy
Before the paid subscription (the previous version of the app) it was a perfect combo with my OMRON RS7. Now 7 in 10 times the application cannot read measurements from RS7. I have to either restart the app, hoping for it to work, or wait, sometimes for two minutes. The interface is “randomly” responsive. The “refresh reading” button is solid frozen. But other buttons work just fine. This app is not really for someone with high blood pressure, who shall avoid annoying things - like this software.
