- Made episode-limit enforcement less aggressive
- Added Episode Limits section to settings screen for quickly browsing all of them
- Podcast Settings screens now have quick switches for playlist inclusion
- New Nitpicky Detail to disable Lock Screen time-scrubbing, in case you do it accidentally a lot
- Deleting or marking-as-played now loads the next episode if continuous play is enabled
- Playlists now loop around to the top if continuous play is enabled
- Fixed deleted episodes not appearing dim in a podcast's "All" tab
- Podcast screens now start on "All" mode if there are no "Current" episodes
- Fixed links not reopening after swiping to dismiss and tapping again
- Fixed tappable links in chapter list
- Fixed auto-linked timestamps seeking the current episode while viewing a different episode's info
- The app may now prompt you for ratings (I held out for 8 years… it's time)

I love the new Overcast’s design

I am using this app since a few years it and overall the redesign is great. With every next update it’s getting better and better. I love the possibility to show just the plain list of podcasts with new episodes.

One thing that was uncomfortable in use is currently played episode screen - initially I had rough time to get used to the new navigation paths (chapters, voice boost, etc.), but after a month it’s as easy to use as in the old designs.

Best podcast app bar none

The app itself is pretty much perfect. Offers unparalleled options for seeking, noise leveling, acceleration, playlist creation. It gets all the most important basics right.

The only reason why you'd even consider anything else is if you need cross platform support. This app is iOS only and the web interface for browser listening is mediocre.

But if you don't mind if your podcasts live only on iOS devices, this app is an obvious choice.

Best podcast app out there

The perfect app for me, all free with no annoying ads (only has very subtle ads for other podcasts at the bottom of the screen that do not interfere with the experience and let you discover cool content). The chapter markers work flawlessly too! 100% would recommend to anyone 🙌🏼
