Procreate Dreams 4+

Hey guys! Love your apps! I have been using Procreate for one year and I absolutely love it. When Procreate Dreams came out I was so exited but I was a bit disappointed once I got to know it a little. There is a lot of features missing that I need for the animated short film I’m making. I was planning to get started on the animation part when the app came out but because of this it got postponed and I really want to start. I’m missing a few things. Firstly I need a select tool and I can distort and reshape the thing I selected. Second, please introduce copy layers to the app. Look at FlipaClip and try to add some features of this nature to your app. Also improve the overall performance of the app. I know this is a lot to ask for but I believe in you guys and in this app and I believe it will be amazing once these things are covered. Hey Jane - Thank you for your kind words for us as well as for sharing your feedback. Selections as well as Transform for Draw & Paint are currently being worked on and we are trying to get them to our users as soon as we can. It will, however, still need a bit of time in development. Besides, a lot of features are planned for early updates, so keep an eye on App Store and update when new versions are available. I was really excited for procreate dreams, but I have found some issues. I think this app is unintuitive, I thought it would be more similar to procreate but, I don’t really know how to use it properly. I guess it would be nice to add „undo” where it was originally at procreate, next to the sliders, because it’s really tiring to use rubber all the time, maybe there is this option but i can’t find it. I hope this app will develop better in the future. Take care!

Hey Bzgrol - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. You can undo in Procreate Dreams by tapping two fingers on the screen. For redo, tap with three fingers instead. As for the undo button, it is currently listed as a requested feature and we have added your support load to it. Were is select tool? Why we can’t switch layers (in drwing mode)? It’s way harder to draw here, then in regular procreate. Why we can’t edit brushes? Why we can’t save brushes size?
More specific tutorials (how to find some tools, how to create new animation) and/or lessons would help a lot. If I didn’t watched tutorials on yt, I wouldn’t know how to even start.
Making frame by frame animation is keep getting more and more annoying with time.
There are some good sides ofc. I like how we can move frames and edit them. As for the rest, I’m still learning the functions so I can’t say much about them.
I hope you will add and adjust some functions with time, because right now it’s a little bit disappointing

To keep both products streamlined in what they are designed to do, some features will remain exclusive to Procreate and Procreate Dreams. 🌟You can still export your custom brushes from Procreate, and import them into Procreate Dreams and these will keep their settings. To import your Procreate brushes into Procreate Dreams, you can use both apps in Split Screen and Drag & Drop the brush or brush set directly onto the Stage in Procreate Dreams.
