Reverse: 1999 is a 20th Century Time-Travel Strategic RPG developed by Bluepoch.
On the last day of 1999, the "Storm" fell upon the world. You witnessed an era reversed beneath the rising raindrops. Defying all reasons, what unfolds in front of you is the world of an era long past.
As the Timekeeper, observer of eras, you are free to travel through these eras after each "Storm." With the aid of Sonetto, a powerful Arcanist and ally from the Foundation, your mission is to travel through eras to where the "Storm" is most active, find other Arcanists who can sense the coming "Storm," and save them from being "sifted out" of the timeline.

LITERALLY MY FAV GAME
I love absolutely everything about r1999, the art style, the writing, the characters, voiceover, gameplay, and especially the fandom that isn’t too big and we don’t have much (if any) toxic people there. Although the story is a bit complicated, it’s also deep, you just gotta engage and read into it. Also, ily this game for actually portraying different cultures and giving characters skin tones (i’m looking at you hoyo)

I’m not kidding when I say that I spent 7 hours on this game on my first day of playing it. The art style is to die for and I love how every character is different and unique. The voice acting makes this game so diverse and fun. I like the mechanics of it, especially how simple it is (not in strategy). Omg the gacha is so so satisfying, like how you get to pull the wheel and then it sparkles and everything ahhh I love it so much. One of the things I enjoy a lot is how short the episodes are, for me this is a huge plus because my attention span is so low and if the episodes would be long I would get bored quickly 😭 The wilderness is kind of everything but also out of place, like I don’t really get it but it’s still fun. The only thing that makes this 4 and not 5 starts is the main storyline, I do love the idea of it but I got so confused in the middle of it. The language is a little confusing (complex for me) but I do get that it’s just a complex story overall. I just wish I would get the gist of it more (I read a quick summary of what’s been happening on Reddit and it really helped). Anyways, this game is a must play (you don’t have to do a lot, just pass time).
