Description

Watch over your property from anywhere with Ring Video Doorbells, Security Cameras and Alarm systems.

Ring Video Doorbells and Security Cameras can send you real-time alerts when someone’s at your door or motion is detected. Keep an eye on what matters with live HD video and greet visitors with Two-Way Talk. With a compatible Ring Protect subscription (or free trial), you can review, save and share your Ring videos.

Ring Alarm systems let you monitor entrances and indoor spaces, so you can be notified about unwanted visitors. Opt in to Assisted Monitoring (compatible Ring Protect subscription required) to notify your emergency contacts via an automated call when a security issue is detected.

Whether you’re halfway around the world or just popping out to the shop, with Ring, you’re always home.

What you can do with the Ring app:

- Get real-time doorbell and motion alerts on your smartphone or tablet
- See and speak with visitors with HD Video and Two-Way Talk
- Arm and disarm your Ring system
- Allow access to your building for authorised guests and services with Ring Intercom

The app has been always slow. Even on the most recent iPhones.

The app has been always slow. Even on the most recent iPhones. It takes ages to get in touch with a person at the door. It's much faster through Alexa speaker. Customer support is null. Typical copy/paste. After a few years I'm looking at other options because the neighbors' Chinese 1/2 price doorbell is better, more reliable and faster. I don't recommend it. Overpriced corporate product.

No battery backup support

The cameras do not support the most basic power supply scenario where the camera is plugged into a socket but if it loses power it switches to battery mode. That is very surprising and buyers should beware of that because most devices do support it: your laptops, phones, routers etc.
