Replica is an app that takes video from your iPhone or iPad and puts it onto your TV using screen mirroring.

Normally you'd need a device that supports AirPlay but not with Replica!

With Replica installed you can send video to almost any TV or computer.
Supported devices include streaming devices such as Google Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and many more.
Smart televisions from Samsung, LG, TCL, Xiaomi, Sony Bravia, Philips, Hitachi, and Toshiba are just some of those supported.
You can even use Replica to put video onto your Tesla's big screen, too. In fact, any device with Apple Safari, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge installed can receive video from Replica.

Top app on my list from now on!

Viewing my iPhone screen on TV has never been easier! All you need is to run the Replica app on your phone, plus have your phone and Chromecast on same WiFi network. No glitches, streamed media is also responsive, same goes with quality of displayed image. All in all, very good app and is now on the top of my list!

Not perfect but best from others

I tried a couple of apps for Chromecast and this one was working the best. It still has some issues, but possible so work with.

Kind of works, ..sometimes

Session is aborted often for no reason.
Transmission sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t, and i have just dead screen.
Then I can try to make a new session and maybe it will start working. Just maybe.
All despite wifi connection is good on both devices and they are not loaded with other processes. iPhone 7 and Windows 10.
Sadly, it makes this app not usable.
