Fullfills it’s purpose
The app correctly does what it’s supposed to. However translations and wording is horrible, some controls and buttons even do totally different things than they say they do. Help and explanations are written so badly it’s impossible to understand some of them.
Luckily app is pretty intuitive and even despite some misleads you can quickly remember what does what. My advice tough - test what every single button does yourself, don’t listen to what it says it does!
Also some localizations seem to be insulting. Polish language isn’t russian and it does not use russian alphabet!
Besides that all technical functionalities the app and watch should do as advertised it does quite excellently. Sound quality is also suprisingly good.
There is however a rather discouraging lack of feedback on errors. Both app and wartch just says „failed” or „error” and nothing as to why. But if you configure and activate your sim card properly, give it enough funds and do everything else according to instructions you should be fine. :)
WARNING! App and watch throw errors when you have a „+” in your phone numbers! If you want your watch to work internationally substitue „+” with „00” everywhere then it works. That isn’t mention in the instruction anywhere!
Track what country your child is in
With regards to tracking, it may be accurate to within 2-5km. This wide margin of error means the safety zone (max 2km) is useless. If you’re simply curious about what country your child is in, then this is the tracker for you. If you want to know if your child is at home or school or at a friends, you’ll have to find a gps tracker that is more accurate.
The app has ads. There is a very small character limit for text messages.
Photos are very grainy but you can recognise faces. Probably not able to read road signs or anything if child gets lost and wants help.
Mic is very low quality. Voices sound muffled and distorted at best. At worst, you just hear nothing.
On the plus side, I does tell the time and gave an alarm.
