Group Chats - Get everyone on the same page. Groups make it easier to do things like stay in touch with your communities and organize game night with your best friends.

What is the purpose?
As a game designer I’m asking about direction of this work. Separation would work on social media app, to help people focus on chat(which is big part of social media) and not on scrolling. Here is pointless because chat is just a bonus feature to whole steam system. Unless Valve team have ambition to make it functional as telegram or discord - it has no future.
App works, but I have better apps with a lot of funny features to talk with friends.
App icon is to similar, good idea in negative and add comic cloud but still similar balance between white and blue- it’s easy to make mistake.
It's not nice to see negative reviews, but I think it's the collective consciousness of people - we have too many applications for communication and verification. maybe it's the frustration.
this app is probably a joke
Riddiculously small screen on ipad mini 6th gen to apoint where it’s almost unusable (smaller than on iphone) and bad decision to remove chat from basic app. Bravo steam, way to go.
Why
Valve, why you had to create a new app for just messages? Couldn't you add this feature to the Steam app????
