HOW IT WORKS
Storytel is available in 25+ countries, including both local and international story treasures in different languages. A subscription gives you access to our ever-growing library of audiobooks, ebooks, and other stories.
In-app subscriptions will be charged via your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period unless auto renewal is turned off in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before your subscription period runs out.
When a free trial is offered, we will ask you to add a payment method when starting the trial. But don't worry – if you cancel before the last day of the trial you won't be charged.

Good
I liked the app - well this is not something incredibly fantastic, but it plays its role perfectly. The app does not quit unexpectedly, does not lag - it’s ok!
I’m not sure however if it does not fail sometimes on detecting WiFi - a few times I had WiFi connection and the pop up about downloading via mobile network appeared. Possibly I rejoined WiFi when the app was open. Not a big problem for me.
Other thing that I miss is the possibility to fasten the playback x1.1:) there are lectors that are reading too fast for 1.25 but could be a bit speed up.

The App is good but could be better. It works fine but I really miss polish fantasy authors like Andrzej Pilipiuk, Jacek Komuda, Ziemiański , Grzędowicz, Lidia Kossakowska. If Storytel treats seriously polish market and they want to be big player on the local market they need to invest more in polish fantasy authors . Andrzej Sapkowski its not enough. This is not only my personal opinion. A lot Of my friends Think the same. Shame they are not on the list. I would also develop history section. There should be more scientific positions like History of Egypt,History of England and many others. I know there are such audiobooks in English but could be nice to listen to in my native language. I am writing this because I hope somebody is reading this and will make some changes because this section of app seems to be neglected. But I still think that this is a very good app.
Fine app but...
No complains about the performance and love the subscription idea.
I’m giving it 3 stars only because of the lack of a catalogue I where I could browse books by genre. Most times I don’t know what book exactly I’d like to pick up next and I think that there’s a huge group of people who enjoy the process of looking for something new as much as they do listening to their find. I appreciate the suggestions tab, but it’s mostly new releases and popular choices, which don’t always correspond with my taste.
With the current set up I need an additional app just for looking up what I should I later look for back here. Hope this gets fixed with the future updates.
