It’s awesome but bugs
Telegram is an awesome social app. If you’re into security you can use secret chats which are arguably analogous to Signal. If you’re using Telegram’s standard chats, you have best and cutting-edge functionality from lovely animated stickers to voice to text translation for Premium users. Telegram is awesome and no app can compare to it, WhatsApp is not even close when we talk about security & functionality.
However, Telegram needs to rework their calls. They simply don’t work most of the times. It says the connection is not good but FaceTime handles calls all the time even when connection is not optimal. Also, when someone calls me on Telegram and ai answer on my phone, my iPad keeps ringing which is super annoying considering it will ring for hours until either I turn it off or it will drain the battery.
Currently, there are numerous bugs here and there. Like, sending a scheduled message will not close the pop-up. Or that if my phone rotates when I am recording a voice message I am unable to send the message because the send button disappears. It’s those little things that brake the magic and annoy me daily. That’s why 4 stars.
The problem with rewinding voice messages
Hello, the problem is as follows. I will try to describe it in words. When I listen to the voice messages of my interlocutors in a conversation, I read at the same time what they wrote. But when the voice message ends, it switches to another one, and the conversation itself flips through all the messages before this voice message, and I lose what I read. I would like to be able to disable this function, and it is better to delete it altogether. Because if I want to find out where this voice message is, I will click on the play line, and I will be flipped to the voice message.
Здравствуйте, проблема заключается в следующем. Я постараюсь её описать словами. Когда я слушаю голосовые сообщения своих собеседников в беседе, я читаю одновременно и то, что они написали. Но, когда заканчивается голосовое сообщение, оно переходит на другое, и беседа сама перелистывает все сообщения до этого голосового сообщения, и я теряю то, что читал. Я хотел бы возможность отключения этой функции, а лучше вообще удалить её. Т.к. если я захочу узнать где это голосовое сообщение, я нажму на строчку play, и меня перелистнёт на голосовое сообщение.
I love Telegram but..
I am using this app since 2015, I enjoy using this app to chat with my close people. It is super fast and convenient however there have been a lot of updates so far. Some of them are I think really causing problems, personally I think the feature to be able delete whole chat without 2 parties consent is really annoying. Why would telegram allow users to delete whole chat where can be important information to other part? The chat’s data belongs to 2 people. I do not understand why someone can delete my data without my consent!!! Please remove this feature I believe it has caused many problems among other users too.
