More details for black belt pomodoro ninjas:

It is flexible because it does not force you into intervals with second precision. It just notifies you about the interval end and you decide when do you want to continue with the next interval. This is more realistic in a real world scenario as you might need an extra minute or so to complete your current work before you want to go for a break. It is a similar experience as a traditional analog pomodoro timer. Our statistics module can figure out what counts as a set or break, so you still get the same insight and discipline for your focused work.

"The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Each interval is known as a pomodoro, from the Italian word for 'tomato', after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer that Cirillo used as a university student." - [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomodoro_Technique)

Nice and simple

The app is minimalistic, which is a good thing for me, does not collect any telemetry on a user, which is even better, and Just Works. The only thing I wish it had is actions on the long notification press. This way I could cycle through the intervals without unlocking my phone.

Developer Response ,

Thank you for the very positive feedback! We aim to keep TomatoFlex simple even when adding new features. One feature we are planning for the near future is actionable notifications on iOS - so we hope you will like it. It will be either in version 2.2 or 2.3 latest. Cheers!

Very simple and nice, but no 5 min counter

I downloaded it but it doesn’t work. Wasted money.

EDIT:
(My previous review resulted from the fact that I’ve never downloaded an Apple Watch Only app before and it took me time to figure out how to launch it. It’s not obvious, but this one is on Apple.)

TomatoFlex is very very simple, which is its big advantage compared to other apps. I also love the progress display button. What I find missing is the 5 min break option, which can be a problem if you’re trying to apply the Pomodoro 25/5 intervals. Overall I recommend, it’s a dollar well spent.

Developer Response ,

We are sorry to hear you had an issue. Let us help you. What didn't work? What did you experience?

EDIT:
We are happy it was a misunderstanding and thank you for your updated review, we really appreciate it! Unfortunately Apple Watch Only apps are still a new thing and we hope that the App Store experience for it will improve over time.

Regarding the 5 mins break option: it is possible to set both pomodoro and break times in the 1-90 minutes range. To do it force touch the main screen to reveal the menu of TomatoFlex and go to Settings. We also recommend the new Stats module as well.

Thank you and let us know if you have any further question or feedback, either here or at company@talkingchickenfriend.com
