good evening. I recently placed an order, but the courier did not bring it to me, the company canceled the order and debited my card. Immediately after this incident, I decided to write to the support service to return my funds, firstly, the receipt that came after canceling the order was for PLN 0.00, secondly, when I contacted the support service, I was told that the funds would be returned over the course of 3-5 days, 9 calendar days have passed since then, but no one has returned the Megi funds. I decided to contact UBerEats customer service again, to which I received the answer "Unfortunately, as explained before, we cannot make a refund as it was placed more than 48 hours ago." This is how they breed customers who are waiting for a refund. thanks for listening

Uber Eats is definitely the worst delivery app I ever used. I made an order in Warsaw/Poland, courier didn’t show up on time, I went to the bathroom for the moment, when I got out, my phone was saying I had 2 missing calls 5 min ago, I started to call the number back but it was saying that I can’t do this, the number didn’t accept incoming calls, after 10 min I received an information that courier tried to reach me but I didn’t respond that is why the order was not delivered and they wouldn’t make a refund ? What???? It’s in the general policy of Uber Eats that the courier is obligated to try to call the Client within 7 min after reaching the place. In my case he was late and then tried to call me 2 times in 1 min and then decided to leave ???? Moreover, I tried to call back in 5 minutes after not responding and I couldn’t do this? After this case I started looking for an information and it turned out that I was not the first one who had such experience. This is just normal for Uber. So I just had an opportunity to take part in some charity program and buy a coffee for a courier. Avoid this app! There are way more better than that.
The worst app to get food from
The worst. In any aspect. It’s really tricky, hella confusing and causes many issues for a client. Changing method of payment is literally impossible when you collect your order - I couldn’t change it before I handed my cash to the delivery man and must come back to give my cash back and I had to repay online, where it was delivered long long long time after due. I was placing an order before 7 pm, like really earlier and then the app showed something before I could get to the summary and look at everything, and it wanted my money from bank I refused and I thought it was cancelled. 2 hours later I have a knocking on my door, a ringing from my phone and messages that the food is waiting… so thank you for spending my hard earned money on food I didn’t want, for the waste it caused. Just because the order placed itself and I feel really dumb right now, because it’s not the first time that I’m ordering something, but it’s another time I have issues with this app. And this time it costs me a lot of money, my dignity (xd) and a waste of food.
