Problem with connection
When you turn off the screen on iPhonie X then connection is broken nad you have to restart application... Please fast fix it
Constant connectivity issues
I don’t recommend buying courses on Udemy to anyone who wants to watch them on iPad. I purchased eight courses, and I’m unable to view any of them. Courses don’t load nor can I download them. Application hangs. Need to restart it all the time. I even have to turn off and on wifi because Udemy app causes other apps to lose connectivity as well. Sometimes to force the app to work again I have to reboot the whole device.
Apparently, this app hasn’t been tested well enough and hasn’t been designed to withstand connectivity issues. It isn’t even capable of displaying any messages saying for example ”our servers are overloaded, try later.” It just doesn’t work, and it continues to be this way for several days in row now. It’s just unusable.
Great courses poor app
The courses on Udemy are great. I already bought and watched several. I am impressed with the selection of different topics you can learn. The are courses for almost anything, so it is not only for coding.
I have used the app on various ipads and iphones and it is consistently disappointing. Apart from occasional crashes the loading times are super long and it does not help to download a course and use it offline. The app is far too slow for offline either. Udemy works fine on desktop but watching via the app just does not work. As this is my preferred way of watching the courses I will not be buying any more content until this is resolved.
