Description
UnPlugged is an application that notifies you when the power cord of the MacBook is unplugged or plugged back in. It also notifies you in regular steps about your batteries capacity while you run on battery or while you charge your battery.
Notifications are done using the Notification Center, Growl or with a built in notification window.
UnPlugged stays completely invisible while monitoring your power plug. Only a small Menu Item is visible, showing the current battery status.

Currently the best battery app but has room to improve
It is a very functional app, especially thanks to it’s compatibility with Growl. I set notifications about discharging battery via Growl and Growl does the rest. With Growl you have multiple options of notifying (pushing to iOS devices, speech, mail, SMS and much more) Customization of UnPlugged is very nice, there is only one drawback that I noticed - the app does not notify about battery full (100%) despite the option ’Notify when fully Charged’ checked and you have to manually add it to startup items if you want it to launch upon login (again such option seems to be ‘dead’) - have no idea why (OS X Mavericks). Overall my favorite battery status notification app! One more thing worth noticing - a very responsive support which of course is a plus.
