fraudsters stole my card details by asking for my email address, and then sending a mail from Vinted, stole my card details. and then Vinted deleted the history of correspondence with fraudsters so that I did not have time to take screenshots. I do not recommend the new Vinted to anyone. my data from old Vinted APP is not transferred, there is no protection against spam and phishing, there is no data security, the help center does not respond and does not help. I have been using Vinted for 4 years but after that I will delete my new profile in a new app and never go back there again. you don't value your users, you just make money on it.

Unfortumately, I find other comments really naive and stupid. How can you guys expect introducing innovative features or even a simple migration of user-data from previous platform, not mentioning any kind of upgrades at all, when the only real purpose of „new better Vinted platform” is simply a result of over 5 million PLN penalty (=over 1 million EUR) issued by the Genera Customer Protection authority in Poland as a result of Vinted’s practices of locking the funds belonging to their users with no legal or contract basis and ask them umexpectedly for a sensitive personal documents to confirm their identity, home address and the source of their earnings in order to prevent… money laundering. Well, I always though that the law requires performing detailed KYC on the customers preventing anonymous money laundering only by the customers of banks and similiar e-money institution and not by the second-hand pants sellers, in addition: without any previous indication that receiving YOUR money will first require you to share all your critically sensitive personal data with unknown people until they assure that you haven’t paid for pre-owned sweatshirt with mafia’s money.

disgusting involvement of technical support in solving emerging problems. I tried so many times to get to the truth, but I never received an answer about the documented basis on which I was required to provide an identity document (for data verification) issued by the country in which I use the Vinted service. After all, the user agreement only states the need to provide valid documents, without any mention that these documents must be issued by the country in which the person uses the Vinted service. But technical support specialists insisted that the financial provider requests documents confirming my presence in the country from which I use the application, despite the fact that there is not a word about this obligation in any user agreement. (please kindly correct me if I'm wrong). technical support specialists mostly communicate in standard phrases and their involvement in my case is not felt. As for the app, I'm still not thrilled. the mobile version starts to slow down if I start browsing more than 100 search results. the web version does not display search results if a large number of brands are selected in the filter.
