Not as good as trial version
The app was recommended by Star VPN, which by far was one of the best VPN services I’ve used from within China. It was out of the App Store for whatever reasons at the time and Aegis was their recommendation. The service worked very well during trial period so I didn’t hesitate to buy a half year subscription. As soon as I got the premium version the transfer speed noticeably degraded. Sometimes it wasn’t that bad, but it never was consistent and fully reliable. Now that Star VPN is back I wish I hadn’t bought Aegis subscription because it’s really mediocre in comparison.
