Better than Greenshot
I recently switched to Mac from a PC and I was using Greenshot for Windows to take screenshots. I thought it was the best screenshot tool but Xnip is even better. I like that it can hit Enter after a screenshot is taken and it copies it to the clipboard immediately.
Awesome tool
I have been using Xnip for almost a year, and I must say it is a fantastic tool. I did give CleanShot X a try as it was highly recommended by many, but in terms of control and annotation, Xnip surpassed it. However, I would greatly appreciate it if OCR and screen recording capabilities were added to Xnip. Thank you for creating such a useful app!
Quite OK but needs more clean documentation
It took me a while to understand how to screenshot only some region instead full window. You just need to drag mouse (it's not mentioned anywhere).
It is the only tool that gives great feature of STEPS. Please keep going on developing it!
It also needs better support for multiple displays.
