Meet the creator: The idea for Campy came about in 2017 when co-founders Gijs de Beer, Boudewijn van der Velde and Laurens van Mierlo were driving through Europe in their camper van. They couldn’t find an app with both small and big campsites in one place, so they created one that made all standard features free to use.
